Saint Johns County in Florida has seen explosive growth in recent years. On average, this county has grown by almost 5% per year. The county is looking to build more roads and schools, and even tried to increase local tax rates by 1%, but that was voted down. Residents say the building and constructions companies should help foot the bill, which makes alot of sense.

The school system in Saint Johns county and particularly the town of Saint Johns is considered one of the best in the United States. That's one of the many reasons families are flocking to the area. Unlike Southern Florida, which tends to get very hot, or the states above Florida, which can get quite cold in the winter, this area stays in a relatively comfortable 40-80F for most of the winter months, and 60-90F in the summer months.
If healthcare is something you're concerned about, then one of the best hospitals in the world, Mayo Clinic is right nearby as well. Saint Augustine is the nation's oldest city, and has historical sites such as Castillo de San Marcos. It also has some fantastic beaches with great sunsets, and of course, the famous St. George Street.
